Laptop Computer
All new residents receive a brand-new, brand-name laptop computer to use during the three years of residency.
Each computer is loaded with all the software residents need during residency, with full IT support. At the end of residency, graduating residents have the option to purchase their laptops at fair-market value (usually around $100) for future personal use.
Residents who use a smartphone will receive assistance in loading the phone with clinical software (e.g. ePocrates and our own Resident Survival Guide, in addition to other software of your preference).
