Dr. Acherkan was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, in a family of 5. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Acherkan, his wife, and their two kids moved to Colorado where he worked at The Children's Hospital in Denver.

Dr. Acherkan loves to work with a variety of patients. He is interested in a broad array of specialty areas of medicine along with Family Medicine.

Dr. Acherkan is married and has three kids (two older children and one toddler), as well as two dogs. He likes camping, skiing, reading, and talking.
